We always love to explore new places! Jonnelle and Martez invited us to explore a little of Cleveland. What a fun day we had! Now we can't wait for the main event in August of 2021.
Our first stop was at the Squire Castle. The Castle (which is really the gatehouse for a mansion that was never built) was built in the 1890's by the Oil Baron Feargus B. Squire, the VP of John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil. It is now part of the Metroparks and it's fun to imagine how it looked in it's heyday with plaster walls, ornate woodwork, and furnished in all the spendor of the era.
And from there, we ventured downtown to an abandoned warehouse, now the canvas for some amazing graffiti artists. Check it out!
